Platoon is a basic maneuver unit capable of independent combat operations. ISTAR systems to support combat platoon shall improve situational awareness and commanders‘ overview. These systems help to plan and follow activity of platoon and its squads, support effective deployment of crew-served weapons and small arms and ISTAR architecture.
